Entrance exam

Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test Pharmacy

Pharmacy UG Offline
event June 2026

The Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test was the state's own written entrance examination for professional courses, and it was also referred to in its pharmacy form for bachelor of pharmacy admission. It is no longer conducted. Rajasthan discontinued the state pre engineering test and now admits students to engineering and pharmacy degree courses through a centralised counselling based admission process run by the state, which uses scores from the national engineering entrance test or marks in the qualifying class 12 examination, depending on the course and the rules announced for that year. Overview expand_more
Under the current arrangement the state admission authority opens online registration for the engineering and pharmacy admission process, verifies documents, prepares a merit list from the accepted score, and then conducts choice filling and successive rounds of seat allotment for government, government aided and private colleges of Rajasthan, followed by reporting and mop up rounds for vacant seats. Bachelor of pharmacy seats are covered within this process, and pharmacy education in the state is regulated by the national pharmacy regulator, whose approval institutions must hold. Because there is no separate state written test for these seats now, there is no syllabus or paper pattern to prepare for; what matters is the qualifying examination or national test score, the accuracy of the documents uploaded, and meeting the counselling deadlines set out in the official notification.
Eligibility expand_more
Candidates seeking admission to a bachelor of pharmacy programme in Rajasthan are generally expected to have passed class 12 or an equivalent examination with physics and chemistry as compulsory subjects, together with biology or mathematics, from a recognised board. Diploma in pharmacy holders may be considered for lateral entry to the second year where the admission process provides for it. Domicile, category and reservation conditions apply to state quota seats. The accepted qualifying examinations, the minimum marks needed, category relaxations, any age condition and whether a national test score is required for a particular course are stated only in the official Rajasthan admission process notification for that year.
