AHSEC Class 12 Exams 2023: Preparation Tips

Students are advised to follow the tips provided below to perform well in their Class 12 board exams.

Preparation Tips for Assam Class 12 Exams

Students preparing for the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) Class 12 exams can follow these preparation strategies to improve their performance.

Create a Practical Timetable

Proper planning helps students reach their targets. Prepare a realistic timetable that includes breaks.

  • Analyse your daily routine before making the timetable.
  • Stick to the timetable once it is prepared.
  • Do not overestimate how much you can study in one day.
  • Avoid procrastination.

Give Time to Self-Study

Do not exhaust yourself with homework and tuition classes only. Set aside time for self-study every day.

  • Revise what you learn the same day to remember concepts better.
  • Watch online videos or practise quizzes to understand concepts clearly.

Manage Your Time in the Exam

If you write slowly, practise writing long answers before the exam. Focus on the paper pattern and duration while practising.

  • Allocate time to each answer based on its marks.
  • Do not waste too much time on any one answer if you are confused.

Refer to Previous Year Papers

Solving previous year question papers is a useful strategy for exam preparation. It gives an idea about the type of questions asked and the weightage of different concepts in each subject.

Take Regular Breaks

Studying for long hours without rest can reduce concentration. Take a 5-10 minute break every 1-2 hours.

  • Listen to songs or take a walk during breaks.
  • Short intervals help regain concentration and improve memory.
