NIOS Class X 2027: Detailed Exam Pattern

The NIOS Class X 2027 theory paper follows a three-section structure. Section A tests objective recall, Section B tests short written responses, and Section C tests extended analytical and writing ability.

The total theory exam duration is 3 hours with no section-wise time limits. Internal choice is available in Sections B and C across all subjects. The exact number of questions per section varies by subject — check the subject-specific question paper format in the NIOS curriculum documents at nios.ac.in.

Standard Theory Paper Pattern — Subjects Without Practical (e.g., Mathematics, Social Science, English, Hindi, Economics)

Section Question Type No. of Questions Marks per Question Total Marks Duration
Section A Objective Type (MCQ, Fill in Blanks, True/False, Match the Following) 20 1 20 3 hours (combined, no per-section limit)
Section B Short Answer Questions (with internal choice) 8–10 2–3 ~24
Section C Long Answer Questions (with internal choice) 4–6 6–8 ~36
Total — ~34 — 80 marks

Sections B and C provide internal choice — more questions are given than need to be attempted. Read all options carefully before selecting which to answer. Section A is fully compulsory with no choice.

Theory Paper Pattern — Subjects With Practical (e.g., Science and Technology — Subject Code 212)

For subjects with practical components, the theory paper carries 70 marks. The remaining 30 marks are divided between Tutor Marked Assignments (TMA) of 20 marks and practical work of 10 marks.

NIOS Class X Exam Pattern 2027

The NIOS Class X exam is divided into three sections. The total theory marks are 70 for most subjects.

Section Question Type No. of Questions Marks per Question Total Marks Duration
Section A Objective Type (MCQ, Fill in Blanks, True/False) 20 1 20 3 hours (combined, no per-section limit)
Section B Short Answer Questions (with internal choice) 6–8 2–3 ~20
Section C Long Answer Questions (with internal choice) 3–5 5–6 ~30
Total — ~29–33 — 70 marks

Note: For Science and Technology (Subject Code 212) and other practical subjects, an additional 10 marks for the practical exam conducted at the NIOS study centre, plus 20 marks for TMA, bring the subject total to 100 marks.

Complete Marks Breakdown per Subject Type

The total marks for a subject depend on whether it has a practical component. Subjects without practicals have a different theory-practical split than those with practicals.

Subject Type Theory Marks Practical Marks TMA Marks Total Marks
Subjects without practical (e.g., Mathematics, English, Social Science) 80 — 20 100
Subjects with practical (e.g., Science and Technology) 70 10 20 100

NIOS Class X Marking Scheme 2027

The NIOS Class X 2027 marking scheme is straightforward — each correct answer earns positive marks, and there is no negative marking for any wrong or unattempted answer. This applies to all question types across all sections and all subjects. Students can attempt every question without the risk of losing marks. Short answer and long answer questions use step-marking, so partial credit is possible even for incomplete answers.

There is no negative marking in the NIOS Class X exam — attempt every question, as wrong answers carry zero penalty.

Question Type Marks for Correct Answer Marks for Wrong Answer Marks for Unattempted
MCQ — Section A +1 0 (No deduction) 0
Fill in the Blanks — Section A +1 0 (No deduction) 0
True or False — Section A +1 0 (No deduction) 0
Match the Following — Section A +1 per correct match 0 (No deduction) 0
Short Answer Questions — Section B +2 to +3 (step marking applies) Partial marks for partially correct answers 0
Long Answer Questions — Section C +5 to +8 (step marking applies) Partial marks for partially correct answers 0
TMA (Tutor Marked Assignment) Up to +20 per subject N/A (graded assignment) 0 (marks not awarded if TMA not submitted)
Practical Exam (applicable subjects only) Up to +10 per subject N/A (graded practical) 0

No negative marking of any kind applies in the NIOS Class X exam — never leave a question unattempted.

Step marking in Sections B and C means even a partially correct or incomplete answer earns partial marks — always write what you know.

NIOS Class X Question Types 2027

The NIOS Class X 2027 theory paper uses three broad question types across its three sections. Each type tests a different cognitive level — from recall and recognition in Section A to analysis and extended writing in Section C. Understanding which section each question type belongs to helps in time allocation and preparation.

Section A — Objective Type Questions (20 Marks)

Section A carries 20 marks at 1 mark each and is fully compulsory — there is no internal choice. Four objective formats are used across different subjects.

NIOS Class X Exam Pattern: Section A — Objective Questions (20 Marks)

Section A is the objective section and carries 20 marks. It contains multiple choice, fill in the blanks, true or false, and match the following questions. These questions test recall, comprehension, and application of key facts from the NIOS textbook.

  • Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ): Four options are given, and one correct answer must be chosen. These test recall, comprehension, and application of key facts, definitions, and concepts.
  • Fill in the Blanks: A word, phrase, formula, or date must be written in the blank. These test precise recall of key terms, laws, and data points from the syllabus.
  • True or False: A statement is given, and it must be identified as True or False. In Science and Social Science, a False statement may also need to be corrected for full marks.
  • Match the Following: Two columns are provided, and items in Column A must be matched to the correct item in Column B. These test relationships between concepts, dates, persons, places, and events.

NIOS Class X Exam Pattern: Section B — Short Answer Questions (20–24 Marks)

Section B requires brief written responses and carries approximately 20–24 marks. Internal choice is available, meaning more questions are given than need to be attempted. The expected answer length is 30–80 words for most subjects, or 2–4 solution steps for Mathematics.

  • Factual recall questions: Define a term, state a law, name an event, or list key points. These are 2 marks each, typically requiring 2–3 sentences.
  • Short reasoning questions: Explain why, describe how, or give two reasons for a phenomenon. These are 3 marks each, typically requiring 3–5 sentences.
  • Diagram-based questions (Science): Draw and label a diagram, or answer based on a given diagram. These carry 2–3 marks.
  • Computation questions (Mathematics): Solve using a given formula or method with all steps shown. These carry 2–3 marks, with step marking.

NIOS Class X Exam Pattern: Section C — Long Answer Questions (30–40 Marks)

Section C carries the highest marks per question and requires detailed, analytical, or multi-step answers. Internal choice is available in this section as well. The expected answer length is 100–200 words for written subjects, or multi-step solutions for Mathematics and Science.

  • Essay and explanation type (Social Science, Economics, Hindi, English): Analyse an event, discuss a concept, or explain a policy in 5–8 clear paragraphs.
  • Multi-step problem solving (Mathematics): Solve a complex problem with full working. These carry 5–8 marks each, and step marking rewards every correct intermediate step.
  • Diagram and labelling (Science and Technology): Draw a fully labelled diagram (e.g., human eye, electrical circuit, animal cell) and explain its function. These carry 5–6 marks.
  • Map-based questions (Social Science/Geography): Mark or identify geographical or historical features on a provided outline map. These carry 2–5 marks.
  • Writing tasks (English/Hindi): Formal letter, essay, report, or story writing. These are evaluated on content, language accuracy, and structure.

NIOS Class X TMA — Tutor Marked Assignment (20 Marks per Subject)

The TMA is an at-home written assignment worth 20 marks per subject. It is submitted online or at the NIOS study centre before the theory exam. TMA submission is mandatory — failure to submit the TMA for a subject means the theory exam for that subject cannot be taken.

The TMA covers the full syllabus and includes short answer and long answer questions. The style is similar to the theory paper, but there is no time pressure.

NIOS Class X Exam Pattern: Changes in 2027 vs Previous Year

The NIOS Class X exam pattern has remained largely stable over recent years, with no major structural changes to the paper format, section structure, or marking scheme. As of July 2026, NIOS has not announced any changes to the 2027 exam pattern. The 2027 pattern is expected to remain identical to 2026.

Students should check nios.ac.in for any updates before their session. The table below compares the 2026 and 2027 patterns based on the most recent official information.

How to Prepare Based on NIOS Class X Exam Pattern

Preparation should be aligned with the three-section structure of the theory paper. Section A requires strong recall of definitions, dates, and key terms. Section B needs concise written answers with clear reasoning. Section C demands detailed, structured responses and multi-step problem solving.

For Mathematics, practice full solutions with all steps shown to earn step marks. For Science, focus on labelled diagrams and their functions. For Social Science, practise map-based questions and essay-style answers. The TMA must be completed and submitted before the theory exam for each subject.

NIOS Class X Exam Pattern 2027: Key Details

The NIOS Class X 2027 exam pattern is structured to guide preparation. There is no negative marking, so attempting every question is advised. The paper is divided into three sections, each requiring a different preparation strategy.

Total Marks and Marking Scheme

Each NIOS Class X subject carries a total of 100 marks. The distribution of marks depends on whether the subject has a practical component.

  • Subjects without practical (e.g., Mathematics, English, Social Science): 80 marks for theory, 20 marks for TMA.
  • Subjects with practical (e.g., Science and Technology): 70 marks for theory, 10 marks for practical, 20 marks for TMA.

Exam Pattern and Sections

The NIOS Class X theory paper has three sections. Section A is fully compulsory, while Sections B and C offer internal choice.

Section Type Marks Choice
A Objective 20 No internal choice
B Short Answer Approximately 20–24 Internal choice available
C Long Answer Approximately 30–40 Internal choice available

Section A includes Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), Fill in the Blanks, True or False, and Match the Following questions. All 20 questions in Section A carry 1 mark each and are compulsory.

Exam Duration and Sessions

The NIOS Class X theory exam is 3 hours per subject. There is no separate time limit for each section; students manage their own time within the single 3-hour window.

NIOS conducts the Class X board exam twice a year. The two sessions are April-May and October-November. Students can appear in different sessions for different subjects.

Minimum Pass Marks

A student must secure a minimum of 33% in the theory exam and a minimum of 33% in the TMA separately. Both conditions must be met independently. A high score in one component cannot compensate for a low score in the other.

Preparation Tips Based on the Exam Pattern

The following tips are based directly on the paper structure and marking scheme.

  1. Master Section A for 20 guaranteed marks. All 20 objective questions are compulsory and carry 1 mark each with no negative marking. Cover key definitions, formulas, dates, and facts from NIOS textbooks. MCQ, Fill in Blanks, True/False, and Match questions are based directly on NIOS learning material.
  2. Submit TMA on time. TMA carries 20 marks per subject and is mandatory for exam eligibility. Use the TMA as a full-syllabus revision exercise, as it covers the same topics as the theory paper and helps identify weak areas.
  3. Use internal choice wisely, but prepare the full syllabus first. Sections B and C provide internal choice, allowing selection of stronger questions on exam day. Do not restrict preparation to half the syllabus, as options are distributed across topics.
  4. Allocate exam time proportionally to marks. Section C carries the most marks (~30–40) and needs the most time. Plan to spend roughly 70–80 minutes on Section C, 20–25 minutes on Section A, and 40–50 minutes on Section B.
  5. In Mathematics, always show all steps. Sections B and C in Mathematics use step marking. Writing the correct formula, substituting values, and setting up the working earns marks at each step, even if the final answer is not reached.
  6. For Science and Technology, attend practical sessions. The practical exam is worth 10 marks and is assessed at the NIOS study centre. Regular attendance and practice of listed experiments help avoid losing these marks.
  7. Solve NIOS past question papers. NIOS has maintained a consistent pattern for years. Solving papers from the last 3–5 years gives a sense of frequently appearing topics, expected answer length for Section C, and time management under exam conditions.

Internal Choice in NIOS Class X Theory Paper

Yes, internal choice is available in the NIOS Class X theory paper. It is offered in Section B (Short Answer) and Section C (Long Answer).

NIOS provides more questions than required in these two sections. Students can choose the questions they are most confident about. Section A (Objective) is fully compulsory, and all 20 questions must be attempted.

NIOS Class X Preparation Tips 2027

NIOS's self-paced model places full schedule responsibility on the student. Create a weekly study timetable that covers all five chosen subjects and reserves dedicated time for TMA completion at least one month before each block's deadline. Use the subject-wise tips below to focus effort where it matters most.

Mathematics

  • Algebra and Geometry together account for nearly 45% of the Mathematics theory paper — start with these two units before anything else.
  • Solve every practice exercise in the NIOS SLM before moving to supplementary books like R.D. Sharma.
  • Practice Commercial Mathematics problems daily — they are formula-based and yield direct marks without lengthy reasoning.
  • Attempt five previous year NIOS Mathematics papers under full timed conditions before the exam.

Science & Technology

  • Use the 2027 NIOS SLM exclusively for chapter order — it places Motion and Force before Light and Sound, and older materials do not.
  • Draw and label diagrams for every Biology topic — NIOS exam papers award 2–3 marks per diagram and frequently require them.
  • Memorise key chemical equations for the Matter and Materials unit — these are direct, predictable marks in every paper.
  • Study Natural Resources (Unit 6) and Our Environment (Unit 7) together — they share concepts and exam questions often bridge both.

Social Science

NIOS Class X Syllabus 2027: Subject-Wise Preparation Tips

Science & Technology (212)

  • Prepare the two new 2027 modules — Digital Literacy and Personal Financial Awareness — from the updated NIOS SLM only. These modules are not in NCERT or older editions.
  • Create a timeline of key events in the Indian freedom struggle. Date and movement-based questions appear in every NIOS Social Science paper.
  • For Geography, practise labelling India outline maps. Resource distribution, major crops, and transport routes are common map-based questions.
  • For Civics and Economics, focus on definitions and real-world examples. Short-answer questions dominate these units.

English

  • Practise writing one formal letter and one essay every week from the start of your preparation. Format fluency improves with habit, not last-minute effort.
  • Master active–passive voice and direct–indirect speech transformations. These appear in every NIOS English grammar section without exception.
  • Read all prescribed prose and poetry in the NIOS English Reader twice before the exam.
  • For reading comprehension, practise skimming for main ideas and scanning for specific data. Both save time during the paper.

Hindi

  • Memorise rules and examples of Sandhi, Samas, and Alankar with practice. These are the highest-frequency grammar questions.
  • Essay and letter writing together carry approximately 20–25 marks in the Hindi theory paper. Practise both formats every week.
  • Read all prescribed NIOS Hindi prose and poetry at least twice. Focus on the central idea and the mood of each piece.
  • Prepare a revision sheet of 25–30 common Muhavare and Lokoktiyan. These appear reliably in the grammar section and take seconds to answer if memorised.

TMA (Tutor Marked Assignment) Strategy

  • Submit your TMA at least 2–3 weeks before the official deadline. Missing submission makes you ineligible for that block's theory exam.
  • Write TMA answers in your own words using the NIOS SLM content. Responses that appear copied lose marks at the study centre.
  • Keep a photocopy or photograph of every submitted TMA page for your own reference in case of any discrepancy.

NIOS Class X Syllabus 2027 FAQs

Has the NIOS Class X syllabus been revised for 2027?

Yes. Two subjects have been updated for the 2027 cycle under NEP 2020 alignment. Science & Technology (212) has revised chapter sequencing — Motion and Force now precede Light and Sound. Social Science (213) has two new mandatory modules: Digital Literacy and Personal Financial Awareness.

All other subjects continue with the existing syllabus. Download the updated NIOS SLMs from nios.ac.in to access the revised content.

How many subjects do I need to pass for the NIOS Class X certificate?

You must pass a minimum of 5 subjects to receive the NIOS Secondary (Class X) certificate. At least one of the five must be a language subject (such as Hindi or English).

You may include a maximum of two language subjects in your five chosen subjects.

What is the minimum passing mark for NIOS Class X 2027?

You must secure a minimum of 33% aggregate marks in each subject. The 33% is calculated on the combined score of theory (Public Examination) and TMA.

For a subject with 80 marks theory and 20 marks TMA (total 100), you need at least 33 marks combined to pass. There is no separate minimum for TMA alone — TMA marks contribute to the total aggregate.

Where can I download the NIOS Class X 2027 official syllabus PDF?

The official NIOS Secondary syllabus PDF is available free of charge at nios.ac.in. Navigate to Online Course Material > Secondary Courses, select your subject, and download the subject-wise syllabus or SLM introduction PDF.

What is TMA in NIOS and how does it affect my final score?

TMA stands for Tutor Marked Assignment. It is a set of home assignments you complete using your SLM and submit to your study centre before the theory exam.

TMA carries 20 marks out of 100 per subject. These marks are added to your theory score to compute the final aggregate. Missing the TMA submission deadline can make you ineligible to appear in that session's theory examination.

Are NIOS SLMs enough for the Class X exam, or do I also need NCERT books?

NIOS SLMs are the primary and most important study resource. The 2027 revised content for Social Science (two new modules) and the revised chapter sequence for Science are available only in the updated NIOS SLMs — not in NCERT.

You can use NCERT Class 9–10 books as supplements for Science (Physics, Chemistry concepts) and Social Science (History, Geography depth). Always start and prioritise the NIOS SLM for every subject.

Frequently Asked Questions

Ques. What details do I need to check NIOS Class X Result 2027?

Ans. You need your Enrolment Number (also printed as Roll Number on your admit card) and your Date of Birth. Keep your admit card accessible until your result is declared — it is your primary source for these credentials.

Ques. The results.nios.ac.in portal is slow after result declaration. What should I do?

Ans. Heavy traffic right after declaration is common on any result portal. Try at off-peak hours like early morning or late at night. DigiLocker and the UMANG app usually handle traffic load better than the main portal, so use them as backup options when the official site is congested.

NIOS Class X Marksheet 2027: What It Contains

The NIOS Class X marksheet is your official academic record for the Secondary Examination. Knowing exactly what it shows helps you confirm it is error-free before you use it for admissions or job applications.

Details printed on the NIOS Class X Marksheet:

  • Student's full name
  • Mother's name and Father's name
  • Date of Birth
  • Enrolment Number / Roll Number
  • Study Centre Code and Name
  • Regional Centre
  • Subject-wise marks — Theory and Practical / Internal Assessment (wherever applicable)
  • Grade and Grade Points earned in each subject
  • Total marks secured and total maximum marks
  • Overall result: Pass / Eligible for ODE / Fail
  • Exam session and year (e.g., April-May 2027)

Provisional Scorecard vs. Original Certificate

The result you download immediately after declaration is a provisional scorecard — useful for immediate reference but not the final document needed for formal admissions. NIOS dispatches the original hard-copy marksheet and Secondary Certificate to your Study Centre after the result. You collect it from your Study Centre within the period NIOS specifies.

If you spot any error — in your name, date of birth, or subject marks — report it to your Study Centre right away. Acting on corrections before the certificate is printed and dispatched is far simpler than getting a corrected document later.

NIOS Class X Passing Criteria 2027

NIOS has straightforward passing rules for the Class X Secondary Examination. There is no overall aggregate formula — the key condition is individual subject performance.

Passing Conditions:

  • You must score at least 33% in each subject you appear for. Theory and practical/internal assessment marks are combined to arrive at the subject total.
  • Where a subject has a separate practical component, you must pass it independently — you cannot compensate a practical failure with high theory marks.
  • You must pass a minimum of five subjects to be eligible to receive the Secondary Certificate.
  • There is no overall aggregate percentage condition — clearing every subject at 33% is enough to pass the board.

Transfer of Credit (TOC)

If you have already passed certain subjects from CBSE, ICSE, or a recognized state board, NIOS can transfer those credits to your NIOS record. You then only need to appear in the remaining subjects through NIOS to complete your Secondary Certificate. TOC credits appear on your NIOS marksheet alongside the subjects you sat for through NIOS.

What happens if you fail in a subject

If you fail in a subject, you are not awarded the Secondary Certificate. You can reappear in the failed subject in the next examination cycle to clear it.

NIOS Class X Grading System 2027

NIOS assigns a letter grade to your performance in each subject alongside marks. The grade appears on your marksheet and certificate.

Marks Range Grade Grade Points Performance Description
90–100 A+ 10 Outstanding
80–89 A 9 Excellent
70–79 B+ 8 Very Good

Most admission systems for Class XI or vocational courses use the percentage figure, not the grade letter. Calculate your percentage from the subject totals on your scorecard.

Verify the current grading structure at nios.ac.in before the 2027 exam, as NIOS may revise it.

NIOS Class X Grace Marks 2027

NIOS has a grace marks facility for students who fall just short of the 33% passing threshold in a subject. Grace marks are applied automatically at the time of result computation — no separate application is needed.

Key points of the NIOS grace marks policy:

  • If you score just below 33% in a subject, NIOS may award up to 5 grace marks in that subject to help you cross the passing threshold.
  • Grace marks apply only when you fall within a small range below the passing score — they are not a blanket benefit for all students.
  • Grace marks can typically be applied in up to one or two subjects per NIOS’s rules in effect at the time of the exam.
  • If grace marks bring your subject marks to 33% or above, you are declared passed in that subject.

The exact rules and the maximum number of subjects eligible for grace marks can change each year. Check the official NIOS information bulletin at nios.ac.in before the 2027 examination for the confirmed policy.

NIOS Class X On-Demand Examination (ODE) 2027

The On-Demand Examination (ODE) lets you choose your own exam date from available slots throughout the year. This is NIOS’s equivalent of a compartment exam, but with more flexibility than a fixed-date supplementary exam in other boards.

Who is eligible for ODE?

  • Students who failed in one or more subjects in the main board examination (Stream 1 or Stream 2).
  • Students who want to improve their marks in a subject they already passed.
  • Students who could not appear in a subject during the main board for valid reasons, as per NIOS rules.

How the ODE process works:

  1. After your result is declared, log in to the NIOS student portal at nios.ac.in.
  2. Go to the ODE section and fill in the application form.
  3. Choose your preferred exam date from available slots at a nearby NIOS authorised test centre.
  4. Pay the ODE fee online and download the confirmation slip.
  5. Appear for the exam at the centre on your chosen date.
  6. Results are typically declared within 4–6 weeks of your ODE date.

ODE Fee (approximate — verify at nios.ac.in for the 2027 notification):

Category Approx. Fee per Subject
General / OBC ₹500–₹700 per subject (expected; refer to official notification)
SC / ST / PwD Reduced fee as per NIOS notification

ODE fees and slot availability change from year to year. Always confirm the current fee structure in the official NIOS ODE notification before applying.

NIOS Class X Revaluation and Re-Checking 2027

NIOS provides two formal post-result options if you feel your answer script was not assessed correctly: re-checking (marks verification) and revaluation (fresh evaluation of your answer script). Both carry a fee and must be applied for within the window NIOS announces immediately after the result.

Re-Checking (Verification of Marks):

  • NIOS verifies that all answers are marked, totalling is correct, and no question is missed.
  • The examiner’s actual evaluation is not changed — only clerical accuracy is checked.
  • Faster and less expensive than revaluation.

Revaluation (Re-Evaluation of Answer Script):

  • A fresh examiner evaluates the answer script again.
  • The new marks may increase, decrease, or remain the same.
  • Revaluation is more expensive and takes longer than re-checking.

Falling below 33% in one subject does not mean you fail the entire board. NIOS marks you as "Eligible for ODE" for that subject, and the On-Demand Examination lets you clear it at a flexible date without repeating all subjects.

NIOS Class X Result 2027: Revaluation Process

A different examiner evaluates the answer script from scratch during revaluation. If the new marks are higher, the marksheet is updated.

Check the NIOS notification for the policy on lower revaluation marks. NIOS may retain the original score in that case.

How to Apply for Revaluation

  1. Log in to the NIOS student portal at nios.ac.in after the result is declared.
  2. Navigate to the Revaluation / Re-checking section.
  3. Select the subject(s) and choose the type of request.
  4. Pay the applicable fee online and save the payment receipt.

NIOS sets a strict deadline, typically a few weeks after result declaration. Missing the window means losing the right to challenge those marks for that session.

Visit nios.ac.in immediately after the result to check the exact deadline.

What After NIOS Class X Result 2027?

Here is what to do after the NIOS Class X Result 2027 is declared, whether passing with high marks, passing all subjects at the minimum, or still having a subject to clear.

If You Have Passed All Subjects

  • Collect your original marksheet and certificate from your Study Centre once NIOS dispatches the physical documents. Keep photocopies in multiple places.
  • Apply for Class XI admissions. The NIOS Secondary Certificate is accepted by regular CBSE-affiliated schools, state board schools, open schools, and NIOS's own Senior Secondary programme for Class XI enrollment.
  • Consider vocational programmes. NIOS offers vocational courses in IT, healthcare, retail, and other sectors that can be pursued alongside Class XI or as standalone skill certifications.
  • Link your certificate to DigiLocker for a permanent, government-authenticated digital copy that can be shared for admissions without carrying a physical document.

If You Are "Eligible for ODE" (Failed in One or Two Subjects)

  • Apply for the On-Demand Examination (ODE) at nios.ac.in. Choose a convenient slot and clear the pending subject at your own pace.
  • Only the subject(s) still needed to clear are repeated, not all subjects.

If You Want to Improve Your Score

  • NIOS allows score improvement attempts through ODE or by appearing in the next main board session.
  • The higher of the two scores is typically retained. Confirm this with the current NIOS policy when applying.

If You Failed in More Than the ODE-Eligible Number of Subjects

  • Appear for the next full board session — Stream 2 (October-November 2027) or Stream 1 (April-May 2028).
  • Check with your Study Centre whether a fresh re-registration is needed for your enrollment batch.
