About
The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) scholarships support Indian students pursuing technical education at diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels in fields such as engineering, management and architecture. The AICTE is the statutory body under the Government of India that regulates and promotes technical education nationwide. These scholarships aim to reduce financial barriers so that meritorious students from all backgrounds can complete their technical programmes without interruption.
Eligibility
Applicants must be Indian citizens enrolled in AICTE-approved technical programmes. Eligibility varies by scheme and may include annual family income ceilings, minimum marks in the qualifying examination, or category reservations for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwD, EBC and DNT candidates. Some scholarships require valid scores in national-level entrance tests administered by NTA. Detailed criteria are listed on the official AICTE portal.
How to apply
Visit the AICTE official website or the designated scholarship portal to register and fill the online application form. Upload required documents such as income certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), mark sheets, admission letter and bank details. Submit the form before the deadline shown on the portal and retain a copy of the confirmation for future reference.
