About
The CMAT 2014-15 is a national-level entrance test conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for students seeking admission to management programs in India. It is designed for graduates or final-year students in any discipline who plan to pursue MBA, PGDM, or equivalent courses. The test assesses candidates' aptitude in areas such as quantitative techniques, logical reasoning, language comprehension, and general awareness, ensuring a standardized evaluation for management education across the country.
Eligibility
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university. There is no upper age limit, but applicants must meet the minimum qualifying marks set by AICTE for their respective categories. Reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwD) are provided relaxation as per government norms. Final-year students awaiting results can also apply provisionally.
How to apply
Register online through the official CMAT portal by completing the application form with personal, academic, and contact details. Upload required documents, including a recent photograph and signature, and pay the application fee via net banking, debit card, or credit card. Select preferred test centers and dates carefully, as changes may not be permitted later. Retain a printed copy of the confirmation page and admit card for future reference.
