BITSAT is a computer-based online test for admission to integrated first-degree programmes at BITS Pilani’s Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad campuses. It is open to students seeking undergraduate engineering, science and pharmacy degrees. The test assesses students’ knowledge in physics, chemistry, mathematics, biology and English, depending on the programme chosen. Admission is based solely on BITSAT scores and academic merit, not on any scholarship award.

Students who have passed the 10+2 examination or its equivalent from a recognized board are eligible to apply. Candidates must have studied physics, chemistry and mathematics in class 12. There is no income or category restriction; all eligible candidates can appear for BITSAT. Applicants must also meet the minimum marks criteria specified by BITS Pilani for their chosen programme.

Register online on the official BITSAT portal. Fill in personal, academic and contact details, upload required documents and pay the application fee through available payment modes. After submission, download the admit card when released. Appear for the computer-based test on the scheduled date and check the result on the portal. Admission is confirmed based on BITSAT scores, academic performance and document verification.
