The Central Institute of Psychiatry offers admission to postgraduate degree and diploma courses for the 2017 session.

The available courses are:

• M.D. (Psychiatry) with 02 seats (OBC) and a duration of 3 years, with exemption of one year for those who have passed a 2-year diploma in the same subject.
• Diploma in Psychological Medicine with 02 seats (UR) and a duration of 2 years.

The qualification for these courses is an M.B.B.S. degree from a University recognized by the Medical Council of India, with a one-year rotating internship completed as per NEET requirement.

A mop up counselling will be held on 26.5.2017 at 2.00 P.M. at the Board room of Central Institute of Psychiatry, with verification of certificates starting at 11.00 A.M. the same day.

Candidates are directed to attend the mop up counselling on 26.5.2017 with an AIPGME Rank letter and all original documents.

To be eligible for admission to the postgraduate courses, candidates must have an M.B.B.S. degree from a University recognized by the Medical Council of India.

• Completed a one-year rotating internship as per NEET requirement.
• Meet the specific requirements for each course, such as the exemption for those who have passed a 2-year diploma in the same subject.
