The LIC Junior Research Fellow scheme offers an eight-thousand-rupee monthly fellowship at the Defence Research & Development Organisation Regional Centre For Military Airworthiness, Hal, Korwa Post, Amethi Tehsil, Sultanpur (U.P). It supports PhD-level work in the area of Design Evaluation of Military Airborne items for two years, extendable as per rules. Candidates will work on evaluating military airborne systems while receiving a stipend, HRA and medical facilities.

Applicants must hold a first-class degree in Electronics Engineering at the graduate level and be under 28 years of age on the last date of application receipt. Age relaxation is available for SC, ST, OBC and other eligible categories as per government norms. Only Indian citizens are eligible.
