The IBAB-Admission to MSc in Bioinformatics scholarship offers seats in the two-year MSc programme in Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology at the Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology (IBAB), Bengaluru. It is open to students who have completed a bachelor’s degree in any branch of science, engineering, or medicine. The course is affiliated to the University of Mysore and has a strong placement record in industry and academia, including PhD programmes. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or medicine from a recognized Indian university. There are no restrictions on category, gender, or annual income. Students in their final year of bachelor’s degree may also apply, provided they complete all requirements before the programme start date.

Apply online through the official IBAB portal. After submitting the application, register for the online written test that is conducted in two windows: May 10–11 and June 1–3. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for in-person interviews in Bengaluru between May 16 and June 14. Only those who clear all stages will receive an admission offer.
