The IGNOU-School of Vocational Education and Training (SOVET) Admissions for 2009-10 offers full-time and part-time vocational programs for students seeking industry-relevant skills. SOVET, under Indira Gandhi National Open University, provides courses like M.Sc in Actuarial Science, B.A. in Fashion Design and Textile Design, and PG Diplomas in Security Operations and Pharmaceutical Safety Management. These programs cater to students aiming for specialized careers in emerging sectors.

SOVET admissions are open to Indian students who have completed their higher secondary education for undergraduate programs and hold a relevant bachelor’s degree for postgraduate courses. Specific eligibility varies by program—some require entrance exams while others accept merit-based admissions. There are no income or category-based restrictions mentioned for these vocational programs.

Interested candidates should visit the official IGNOU website for application forms and detailed instructions. Applications must be submitted before the specified deadlines, accompanied by required documents such as academic transcripts and identity proof. Contact details for each program are provided on the official page for further guidance.
