About
The Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM) invites applications for its Post Graduate Diploma in Forestry Management (PGDFM), a two-year full-time residential programme designed for candidates interested in forestry, environment, and allied sectors. The course is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The programme aims to develop managerial competence in sustainable forest management, environmental policy, and natural resource economics.
Eligibility
Graduates in any discipline with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates) can apply. Final-year students may also apply, provided they meet the eligibility criteria by the time of admission. Preference is given to candidates with work experience in forestry, environment, or allied fields. There is no upper age limit.
How to apply
Obtain the application form from the official IIFM website. Fill in the required details, upload necessary documents, and submit the form before the deadline. The selection process includes a written test, group discussion, and personal interview. Ensure all academic and identity proofs are attested and submitted as per the instructions provided on the portal.
