About
The IIFM Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) is a doctoral-level scholarship for Indian students who want to pursue advanced research in management with a focus on forestry and related fields. The programme is a full-time, residential course that typically spans four to five years. Students undertake coursework, independent research, and academic activities guided by experienced faculty. The aim is to develop scholars capable of contributing original research to forest management and allied disciplines.
Eligibility
Applicants must have a master’s degree in management, forestry, social sciences, or a related discipline with at least 55% marks. Candidates in their final year of a qualifying degree may also apply. There is no upper age limit. Preference is given to candidates with work experience in forestry, environment, or rural development. Reserved category candidates (SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwD) are eligible for relaxation as per government norms.
How to apply
Apply online through the official IIFM website when the application portal is open. Submit academic transcripts, a research proposal, and letters of recommendation. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview. Ensure all documents are attested and submitted before the deadline. Keep a copy of the application for future reference.
