About
The National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) Mumbai announces admissions for the 2009–2011 batch of its two-year full-time postgraduate diploma programmes. These programmes are designed for graduates seeking specialized management education in industrial operations, safety, environmental management, and information technology. Approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the courses combine academic rigor with industry exposure to prepare students for leadership roles in diverse sectors. Detailed programme information can be accessed on the official NITIE website.
Eligibility
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology, or a master’s degree in science, economics, or commerce with mathematics or statistics as a subject. For general category candidates, a minimum of 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA) is required. Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD) must meet the institute’s specified relaxation criteria. Work experience is preferred but not mandatory for all programmes.
How to apply
Interested candidates must apply online through the official NITIE admissions portal. The application form requires personal details, academic records, and work experience (if any). Applicants must also upload scanned copies of relevant documents. A non-refundable application fee must be paid as per the institute’s guidelines. Shortlisted candidates will be called for further selection rounds, including written tests and interviews.
