About
The Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET) scholarship, offered by CIET-NCERT, supports Indian students at all school levels who wish to use educational technologies like radio, TV, films, satellite communications, and cyber media to improve learning. Established in 1984 as a unit of NCERT, CIET aims to widen educational opportunities, promote equity, and enhance the quality of school education through technology-driven solutions.
Eligibility
Open to Indian students enrolled in school-level education (pre-primary to higher secondary). There are no strict income or marks criteria; selection is based on the feasibility and innovation of the proposed educational technology project. Priority may be given to students from marginalized communities such as SC, ST, OBC, EWS, EBC, PwD, or DNT categories.
How to apply
Submit a project proposal outlining the educational technology initiative, its objectives, methodology, and expected impact to the Joint Director at Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET), NCERT. Include student details, school affiliation, and a no-objection certificate from the school. The official page lists the current submission guidelines and contact details.
