About

The Department of Zoology, University of Delhi invites applications for two Senior Research Fellow (SRF) positions in an ICAR-sponsored project. The project examines digestive physiology in the spawn and fry of three major Indian carp species—Catla catla, Labeo rohita, and Cirrhinus mrigala—under different feeding regimes. The work combines laboratory and field components and is suited to candidates with a strong background in fish biology or related disciplines. The department provides research support and access to its aquatic research facilities at the North Campus.

Eligibility

Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in Zoology with specialization in Fish Biology, Fisheries Science, or Biochemistry and have obtained at least 55% marks. Preference will be given to candidates who have qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET). The selection committee may also consider relevant research experience in fish physiology or nutrition.
