The IIM Calcutta Post-Doctoral Research Fellowships support early-career scholars who have recently completed a Ph.D. or are near completion to conduct advanced research in management. The fellowship is designed for researchers whose work aligns with both their academic interests and the research priorities of IIM Calcutta. During the tenure, fellows are expected to contribute to the theoretical and practical dimensions of management studies through independent and collaborative research projects.

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree or have submitted their thesis for examination. Applicants should be within five years of completing their Ph.D. The research proposal should match areas of interest to both the fellow and the Institute. There are no restrictions based on nationality, gender, or social category. Applicants are evaluated primarily on the quality and feasibility of their proposed research.
