The Central Seri cultural Research and Training Institute, Mysore, invites applications for its entrance test to be held in Mysore, New Delhi, and Kolkata for admission to the two-year M. Sc Programme in sericulture Technology.

This course is recognized by the University of Mysore and will commence in September 2008.

Eligible candidates can obtain the application by post by sending a request along with a crossed demand draft for Rs.100/- in favour of The Director, Central Seri cultural Research and Training Institute, Mysore ? 570 008, accompanied by a self-addressed envelope (size 25 x 19 cm).

To be eligible for the M. Sc Programme in sericulture Technology, candidates must have a B. Sc degree with any three of the following subjects as optional:

• Sericulture
• Zoology
• Botany
• Chemistry
• Biochemistry
• Microbiology
• Bioscience
• Biotechnology
• Environmental science
• B. Sc Agriculture or sericulture

B. Sc Sericulture graduates will be given preference.

1. Send a request along with a crossed demand draft for Rs.100/- in favour of The Director, Central Seri cultural Research and Training Institute, Mysore ? 570 008, accompanied by a self-addressed envelope (size 25 x 19 cm) to obtain the application by post.
2. Completed applications should be sent along with a demand draft for Rs.150/- to the Director so as to reach the institute on or before July 26, 2008.
