Open to Indian students below 18 years of age studying in Indian schools. Applicants must have created an original invention or innovation. There are no formal marks or income criteria. The scheme is open to all school-going children regardless of board or medium of instruction.

Students must submit their invention along with a detailed description, drawings or working models as specified by CSIR. The submission should include proof of age and school enrolment. Applications are accepted through the official portal listed on the CSIR website. Late or incomplete entries are not considered.
