The Department for the Welfare of SC/ST/OBC & Minorities implements multiple scholarships to promote socio-economic development through financial assistance and fee reimbursement. Detailed scheme-wise assistance amounts, eligibility conditions, and contact details of department officers are provided in the official guide published annually.

Eligibility

Applicants must be studying at school, undergraduate, postgraduate, or professional levels in recognized institutions. Income limits vary by scheme, typically ranging from below ₹2.5 lakh to ₹8 lakh per annum. Some schemes require minimum marks in the previous qualifying examination. Applicants must not be availing similar benefits from other government sources.
