The National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM) Scholarships support Indian students who wish to pursue a master’s degree in mathematics. These scholarships are open to students enrolled in recognized two-year or five-year integrated master’s programmes in mathematics across India. Students who have completed or are in the final year of a recognized three-year B.A./B.Sc. degree in mathematics with at least 60% marks are eligible. Those with a B.A.(Hons.)/B.Sc.(Hons.) degree in mathematics need a minimum of 50% marks. Applicants in a five-year integrated M.A./M.Sc. programme in mathematics must have at least 60% marks in their coursework. There are no income restrictions, and students from all categories may apply.
