This entry is an admission announcement rather than a scholarship. It records a notice issued by the Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology, a government institute, inviting candidates for admission to its engineering degree programmes at its Chennai campus. Shortlisting under this notice was handled through a walk-in interview and document verification rather than through any financial award. No stipend, fee waiver or grant is attached to the notice, and no award value appears anywhere in the record, so nothing here should be read as funding. The title carries a year that has already passed, which makes this an archived admission notice; details of any current intake, including the programme list, fees, entry route and schedule, are published on the institute's official website.

Because this is an admission notice rather than a scholarship, there is no award eligibility to describe. Candidates responding to an intake of this kind are generally expected to have completed the school or diploma level required for entry to an engineering degree programme, and to be able to produce academic mark sheets, a diploma certificate where applicable, and a community or category certificate at the time of verification. The record does not state marks thresholds, age limits, income conditions or reservation rules in a form that can be relied upon. Anyone considering the programme should confirm the current entry requirements directly with the institute before preparing documents.

The archived notice describes selection through a walk-in interview at the institute rather than an online scholarship application. Candidates were asked to attend in person with copies of their supporting documents and contact details, after which a provisional admission letter and a fee payment step followed. That process applied to a cycle that has closed, so it should not be treated as a live instruction. Anyone interested should visit the official institute website or contact its Chennai campus to confirm whether admissions are open, how applications are received in the current cycle, which documents are required, and by which announced closing date an application must reach the office.
