The CSIR – Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CSIR-CECRI) in Karaikudi invites eligible candidates to apply for its Ph.D. programme under the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR). This programme offers research opportunities in advanced areas of science and engineering for motivated students seeking doctoral studies. Candidates can choose between Ph.D. (Science) or Ph.D. (Engineering) based on their academic background and research interests.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology/Medicine or a 4-year B.S degree, or a Master’s degree in Science for Ph.D. (Science). For Ph.D. (Engineering), a Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology or a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology with a valid national-level fellowship is required. SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD candidates may apply as per government reservation norms.
