About
The West Bengal government offers the Scholarships in West Bengal to help minority students in the state complete their higher education. The scheme supports students from Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain and Parsi communities who are enrolled in any recognized course in West Bengal. Financial help is provided to cover tuition, books and living costs so that students can focus on their studies without financial worry.
Eligibility
Students must be permanent residents of West Bengal and belong to one of the six notified minority communities: Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains or Parsis. They should be studying in any class or course at a recognized school, college or university in the state. The official page lists the exact income and marks conditions that applicants must meet.
How to apply
Apply online through the official portal listed on the scholarships page. Create an account, fill in personal and academic details, upload required documents such as income certificate and community certificate, and submit the form before the deadline. Keep a copy of the submitted application for future reference.
