Anna University Chennai offers part-time B.E./B.Tech degree programmes for working professionals. These programmes are offered in the university's departments and are designed to cater to the needs of working individuals.

The programmes are self-supporting and are offered in the evening. The admission process for the 2010-2011 academic year has been announced, and applications are invited from eligible candidates.

Application forms can be obtained in person at the Examination Centre, Anna University, Chennai, on payment of a fee. The fee for general category candidates is Rs. 500, while SC/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu can obtain the form for Rs. 250 by producing a copy of their Permanent Community Certificate card.

The application forms can be obtained from any nationalised bank on or after 03.10.2010, and the last date for issue and submission of the application is 19.10.2010 at 5:45 pm.

To be eligible for admission to the part-time B.E./B.Tech degree programmes, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Age limit: The age limit for admission is not specified.
• Qualification: Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or a diploma in engineering.
• Work experience: Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of work experience in a relevant field.
• Language: The medium of instruction is English.

2. Pay the application fee of Rs. 500 for general category candidates or Rs. 250 for SC/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu.

4. Wait for the admission process to be completed and the selection list to be announced.
