The Kerala State Young Scientist Awards recognize young researchers in Kerala for outstanding contributions to science and technology. The award honors independent research conducted by scientists under 35 years of age who have worked in Kerala for at least three years. Nominations are evaluated by an expert committee to identify the most impactful work in any scientific discipline.

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree and be below 35 years of age. They should have conducted research independently in Kerala for the last three years. Nominations can be submitted by Vice-Chancellors of Kerala universities, directors of R&D centers, heads of institutions, department heads, or fellows of academies.

Submit nominations through eligible nominators such as university heads or research directors. Ensure the application includes proof of independent research conducted in Kerala for three years. The selection is based on a thorough review by an expert committee. Check the official Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE) page for the latest application format and submission guidelines.
