About
The AIMS Test for Management Admission (ATMA) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) for students seeking admission to postgraduate management programs such as MBA, MCA, PGDM, and PGDBA. ATMA scores are accepted by over 90 leading management institutes across India, providing a standardized assessment for selection into these programs. The exam evaluates candidates on analytical reasoning, quantitative skills, and verbal abilities to ensure a fair and comprehensive evaluation of their potential for management education.
Eligibility
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and PwD). There is no upper age limit for applying. The exam is open to Indian nationals as well as foreign nationals, subject to the eligibility criteria of individual participating institutes. Candidates in their final year of graduation may also apply, provided they meet the criteria at the time of admission.
How to apply
Register online for ATMA using the official ATMA website, where you will receive a personal ID code required for the application process. Purchase the ATMA Bulletin from designated centers such as Axis Bank branches, Career Launcher, IMS Learning Centres, AIMS member institutes, or the AIMS offices in Hyderabad and Goa. The Bulletin can be bought in cash for the listed price or obtained via demand draft. Complete the registration process by filling in the required details on the ATMA portal and submitting the necessary documents as per the instructions provided.
