Anna University offers admission to B.E./ B.Tech Part-Time (Self-Supporting) degree programmes for working professionals.

The programmes are offered in the College of Engineering, Alagappa College of Technology, and Madras Institute of Technology of Anna University.

Applications are invited for the year 2006-2007, and application forms can be obtained in person from the Examination Centre, Anna University, Chennai, on payment of Rs.500/- for General and Rs.250/- for SC/ST candidates from Anna Nadu, with a copy of Community Certificate.

The last date for issue and submission of application is 18.10.2006.

Eligibility criteria for Anna University BE B.Tech admission to working professionals include:

• Working professionals with a valid work experience.
• Qualifying marks in the qualifying examination.
• Age limit: 35 years for SC/ST candidates and 30 years for other candidates.
• Other eligibility criteria as per Anna University norms.
