About
The Senior/Junior Fellowships in New Areas Related to Culture are open to Indian nationals who wish to undertake research projects in art and culture. These fellowships support analytical studies that apply new research techniques, technological, and management principles to contemporary cultural issues. Projects involving general or theoretical macro studies will not be considered. The fellowships are awarded for a maximum period of twenty-four months and are not extendable.
Eligibility
Indian nationals of any age or academic background are eligible to apply. The scheme does not impose income or marks-based conditions. Applicants must propose a research project in an area related to art and culture. The Department of Culture does not restrict applications based on caste, gender, or disability status.
How to apply
Applicants must submit a detailed project proposal along with a bio-data and supporting documents as specified by the Department of Culture. The official page lists the current application format and required documents. Applications are typically submitted offline unless otherwise stated. Late or incomplete applications are not considered.
