The IELTS International English Language Testing System English For International Opportunity is an English-proficiency scholarship for Indian students who need to prove their language skills for study, work or migration abroad. The test is widely accepted by over 500 institutions in the United States and is often required for admission or visa purposes. Recognised by universities, employers and immigration authorities worldwide, a good IELTS score can open doors to international opportunities for students at all academic levels.

Indian students of any study level who plan to take the IELTS test for overseas education or migration may apply. There are no formal income, marks or category conditions published on the official page. Applicants simply need to register for the IELTS test and meet any additional requirements set by the receiving institution or authority.
