About
The Indian Maritime University-Admissions 2015 is a university-level entrance test for postgraduate courses in maritime studies. It is for students who wish to pursue M.B.A. (Port & Shipping Management), M.B.A. (International Transportation & Logistics Management), M.Tech (Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering), or M.Tech (Dredging & Harbour Engineering). The Computer-based Common Entrance Test (CET) assesses candidates for admission to these programs. The university conducts the CET annually to select eligible candidates for its specialized maritime programs.
Eligibility
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university. There are no specific income or category-based conditions mentioned for this entrance test. Candidates appearing in their final year of graduation may also apply, provided they meet the eligibility criteria at the time of admission. The university does not specify any relaxation for reserved categories in the announcement.
How to apply
Online registration for the CET opens on 23rd February 2015. Candidates must complete the registration process on the official portal before the deadline of 6th April 2015. After registration, applicants should download the admit card and appear for the computer-based test on 25th April 2015, scheduled from 2 PM to 5 PM. For detailed instructions, refer to the Academic Brochure available on the university’s website.
