The IIM Bangalore – Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) is a doctoral programme designed for students who wish to pursue advanced research in business management and public policy. The FPM is equivalent to a PhD and prepares candidates for academic careers. The programme offers specialisations across key areas such as Corporate Strategy & Policy, Economics & Social Sciences, Marketing, Finance & Control, and Public Policy & Public Systems. Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade point average. Those with a Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 60% marks or equivalent, along with two years of relevant work experience, may also apply. The institute considers scores from national-level tests such as CAT, GMAT, GRE, GATE, or UGC-JRF. There are no age restrictions, and candidates from all categories including SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwD, and EBC are encouraged to apply.
