The IIM Calcutta-Admission to Doctoral/Ph.D PROGRAMME is a research-focused scholarship for Indian students seeking a doctoral degree in management. The programme begins annually and provides financial support to scholars. It offers specializations in 12 areas, such as Behavioural Science, Economics, Finance & Control, Marketing, Operations Management, and Public Policy. Financial support includes a stipend, contingency grant, and computer grant, among other benefits.

Applicants must hold a master's degree or equivalent in any discipline with at least 55% marks. They should have a valid score in CAT, GMAT, GRE, GATE, UGC-JRF, or UGC-NET. Candidates from SC, ST, OBC, PwD, or economically weaker sections are encouraged to apply. There is no upper age limit for this programme.
