The ISKCON Bangalore The Himalaya Drug Company Scholarships support students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds who work in essential but often unrecognized urban professions. Aimed at auto-rickshaw drivers, police constables, railway porters, pourakarmikas, and others, the scholarship recognizes their contributions to society while helping their dependents pursue education. It seeks to change perceptions by providing financial assistance to worthy candidates who might otherwise be overlooked.

Open to students at all levels—school, undergraduate, postgraduate, or professional courses—who are dependents of auto-rickshaw drivers, police constables, railway porters, pourakarmikas, or similar essential service workers. Applicants must demonstrate financial need, with priority given to families with annual incomes below a threshold listed on the official page. There are no minimum marks required, but academic performance may be considered.

Download the application form from the official ISKCON Bangalore website. Fill it out with personal and family details, attach proof of identity, income certificate, and academic records, then submit it in person or by post to the address provided on the scholarship page before the deadline. Ensure all documents are attested copies. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
