About
The John Anderson Scholarship supports new international students starting a one-year full-time taught master's course in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Strathclyde. The scholarship is designed for students beginning their postgraduate studies in September 2016. It is a non-renewable award intended to assist with tuition and living costs during the first year of study. The program reflects the donor's commitment to fostering academic excellence and cultural diversity within the university community.
Eligibility
Applicants must hold a conditional or unconditional offer to study a full-time taught master's program in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Candidates are typically expected to have a good honours degree or equivalent qualification. The scholarship is open to international students who have not previously studied in the UK at the postgraduate level. Financial need may be considered as part of the selection process.
How to apply
To apply, students must first secure admission to a postgraduate course at the University of Strathclyde and obtain an application number. Applications for the scholarship should be sent via email to international@strath.ac.uk. Include all required documents, such as academic transcripts and proof of English language proficiency, along with the scholarship application. Ensure the application is submitted before the specified deadline.
