About

The National Board of Examinations-Admission (NBE) conducts the DNB CET SS examination for Indian medical graduates seeking admission to postgraduate super-specialty courses in modern medicine. The exam is designed for candidates who have completed MD/MS/DNB in broad specialties and wish to pursue advanced training in areas such as Cardiology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, and Endocrinology. Conducted as a Computer Based Test (CBT), it assesses clinical and academic competence for entry into DNB/MD/MS super-specialty programs across the country. The official page provides updated details on eligibility, exam structure, and application procedures.

Eligibility

Candidates must hold an MD/MS/DNB degree in a broad specialty from a recognized medical college or institution. They should be registered with the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council. There is no upper age limit. Candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) must provide valid category certificates. Persons with Disabilities (PwD) are also eligible with applicable relaxations as per government norms.

How to apply

Eligible candidates must register online through the official NBE portal listed on the current page. After registration, they should fill out the application form, upload required documents such as degree certificates, registration proof, and photographs, and pay the application fee. A confirmation slip will be generated upon successful submission. Candidates must then download the admit card from the portal before the exam date. No offline applications are accepted.
