The Post Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities offers financial support to students from notified minority communities in India who are pursuing higher education from Class XI up to Ph.D. levels. This government scheme helps cover educational expenses and aims to reduce dropout rates among deserving students.

Students belonging to notified minority communities (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, and Zoroastrians) studying in Class XI or higher can apply. They must have secured at least 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination. The annual income of their parents or guardians from all sources should not exceed Rs. 2.00 lakh.

Apply online through the National Scholarship Portal. Register or log in, fill in the required details, upload necessary documents such as income certificate, minority community certificate, and previous year’s marksheet. Submit the application before the deadline listed on the portal.
