The Government of Romania Scholarships are international exchange awards offered to Indian students aiming to pursue undergraduate, postgraduate, or doctoral studies, as well as research programs in Romania. This initiative operates under the aegis of the Cultural Exchange Program between India and Romania for the 2022-27 period. For the academic year 2024-25, a total of 20 scholarships are available across diverse university courses, with the exception of medical studies. Selected candidates undergo higher education or research stages in Romanian universities. Detailed scholarship provisions and coverage details are listed on the official program portal.

Applicants must be Indian citizens intending to pursue Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degrees, or undertake university research stages in Romania. Candidates applying for programs in medical studies are ineligible for this award. Applicants must satisfy the academic qualifications, language requirements, and entry criteria established by the target Romanian university for their intended level of study.

Interested students should visit the official Study in Romania website to review the course options and download the application form. Applicants must fill out the form accurately and gather all supporting documents specified in the notification guidelines.
