Eligibility

Because this is an admission notice rather than a scholarship, the conditions attached to it are entrance requirements for the postgraduate programme. Applicants are generally expected to hold a completed bachelor degree of the minimum duration the university recognises, awarded by a recognised institution, and candidates awaiting final results may be considered provisionally where the university permits it. Selection normally also depends on departmental screening, which can include an interview or a written assessment. Reservation and relaxation norms applicable to a central university would apply. The authoritative conditions for the current cycle are the ones printed in the university prospectus and admission notification.

How to apply

Prospective applicants should treat the official website of the Central University of Tamil Nadu as the only reliable source for this programme. The usual steps involve locating the current admission notification for the social work programme, reading the prospectus, completing the application in the form the university prescribes, paying any application fee through the channel named in the notification, and submitting the application together with mark sheets, degree certificates and identity proof before the announced closing date. Applicants are advised to keep an acknowledgement of submission and to use the departmental contact address printed in the notification for queries about the programme.
