About

The Post Diploma Centralized Entrance Test (DNB PD CET) is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination for Indian students who have completed a diploma in modern medicine and wish to pursue post-diploma courses. Conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE), the test is held as a Computer Based Test (CBT) at centres across India. It evaluates candidates for admission to various post-diploma specialties in medical fields such as Anaesthesia, Dermatology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and more. The exam ensures a standardized selection process for specialized medical training under the NBE framework.

Eligibility

Candidates must hold a recognized diploma in modern medicine and be Indian nationals. The test is open to all eligible candidates regardless of category, though specific reservations apply as per government norms. There is no stated income limit for eligibility. Candidates must also meet any additional criteria outlined by the NBE for the respective post-diploma courses.

How to apply

Eligible candidates must register online through the official portal listed on the NBE website. After registration, they need to fill out the application form, upload required documents, and pay the examination fee. The admit card will be issued to registered candidates. The test is conducted as a CBT, and candidates must appear at the designated centre on the scheduled date with valid identification.
