Administered by the Department of Science & Technology (DST), the scheme aims to nurture talent in science, engineering, medicine, agriculture, and veterinary sciences through financial assistance and research opportunities. It is part of the Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) initiative, which encourages meritorious students to engage deeply with scientific disciplines and innovation.
