The IGNOU-Admission to Master of Education (M.Ed.) programme is for in-service teachers who want to upgrade their qualifications through open and distance learning. The programme is delivered by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) in ODL mode, letting teachers study at their own pace while remaining in service. It is offered at multiple Regional Centres across India so candidates can choose the centre closest to them.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD). They should be in-service teachers or teacher educators. There is no upper age limit. Reserved-category candidates must submit valid category certificates as per Government of India norms.

Submit the completed form to the chosen Regional Centre before the last date announced on the portal.
