The IGNOU Admissions scholarship offers open and distance learning programs at all study levels through Indira Gandhi National Open University. It is designed for Indian and international students seeking flexible higher education opportunities. Programs include short-term online courses such as the Appreciation Programme on Sustainability Science and the Appreciation Programme on Sustainable Management of Wetlands. Established in 2007, IGNOU's Chair for Sustainable Development facilitates these initiatives, promoting accessible education in sustainability studies.

Open to students of all academic backgrounds and ages. There are no specific marks or income criteria for these short-term programs. Applicants must meet the minimum educational qualifications required for the chosen program. The courses are accessible to working professionals, homemakers, and school leavers. No category-based reservations apply unless specified by the program guidelines.
