The Department of Biotechnology-NERBPMC Program 2014 supports mid-career scientists in the North Eastern Region of India by funding a 'Unit of Excellence' in their research area. Open to Indian mid-career scientists aged up to 45 years with regular employment in recognized institutions or universities in the eight North Eastern states.
