About

Mahatma Gandhi University Medical Sciences and Technology MD/MS & MDS Admission-2017 is a government‑run postgraduate entry scheme for candidates seeking seats in MD, MS or MDS programmes at the university in Jaipur. The admission cycle reserves 50 % of the 65 MD/MS seats and all 26 MDS seats for the All India Quota, allowing candidates who cleared NEET PG‑2017 or NEET MDS‑2017 to compete nationwide. The university, established under the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Act and recognised by UGC, MCI, DCI and the governments of Rajasthan and India, conducts the selection based on the qualifying exam scores. Applications must be submitted before 23 March 2017 as indicated on the official page.

Eligibility

Applicants must have qualified the NEET PG 2017 examination for MD/MS courses or the NEET MDS 2017 examination for MDS courses. Candidates should be Indian citizens and meet the academic requirements for postgraduate medical education as prescribed by the Medical Council of India or Dental Council of India. Seats are allocated under the All India Quota, so no state‑wise reservation applies beyond the central eligibility criteria.

How to apply

Visit the university’s official website and download the online application form before the 23 March 2017 deadline. Fill in personal, academic and NEET score details, attach scanned copies of the qualifying exam rank card, mark sheets and identity proof, and pay the prescribed processing fee through the provided payment gateway. Submit the completed form electronically and retain the acknowledgment for future reference.
