About
The Feeding India Scholarship Programme For Class 1st to 10th supports school students from low-income families by providing financial assistance for their education. Feeding India, a society registered under the India Society Registration Act XXI of 1860, works to eliminate hunger and malnutrition through food support and community interventions. The scholarship is designed to encourage grocery delivery partners and their dependents to pursue education by reducing financial barriers. It reflects the organisation’s broader mission of systemic change through education and nutrition support.
Eligibility
Students studying in classes 1 to 10 in India are eligible to apply. The programme prioritises applicants from low-income families, including those from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Economically Weaker Sections, and other marginalised communities. There are no strict academic performance requirements, but preference may be given to students facing financial hardship. Applicants must be dependents of grocery delivery partners or from underserved communities supported by Feeding India.
How to apply
Applications are submitted through the Vidyasaarathi portal, which partners with Feeding India to manage the scholarship process. Students or their guardians must register on the portal and complete the online application form. Required documents, such as income certificates, school ID, and family details, must be uploaded. After submission, applications are reviewed, and selected candidates are notified by Feeding India or Vidyasaarathi.
