The IDRBT-Admission For Ph.D Programme offers a full-time doctoral research opportunity in computer science and information technology for Indian students. The programme is jointly conducted by the Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT) and the University of Hyderabad, a NAAC-accredited 'A' Grade central university. Since 1999, IDRBT has provided a platform for advanced research in banking technology, with independent Ph.D. supervision granted under its Associate Institution status in computer sciences and IT. The programme bridges academic rigor with practical industry applications in banking technology.

Applicants must hold a Master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a closely related field with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD categories). Candidates should qualify in national-level tests like UGC NET, CSIR NET, GATE, or equivalent. Prior research experience or industry exposure in banking technology is preferred but not mandatory.
