About
The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) offers scholarships to Indian students pursuing research in environmental science and pollution control. This scholarship supports Junior Research Fellows working on projects under CPCB’s initiatives at its headquarters in Delhi and regional offices in Vadodara and Bengaluru. The program provides financial assistance to candidates engaged in scientific research aimed at addressing pollution challenges in India. The scholarship is temporary and does not guarantee permanent employment within the organization.
Eligibility
Open to Indian nationals with a postgraduate degree in environmental science, chemistry, biology, or a related field. Candidates must have secured at least 55% marks in their qualifying examination. The scholarship is available to candidates below 35 years of age. Reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and PwD are eligible for relaxations as per government norms.
How to apply
Applications must be submitted online through the official CPCB portal. Candidates should fill out the application form with personal, academic, and project details. Required documents include educational certificates, caste certificate (if applicable), and a research proposal. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview or written test. The final selection is based on merit and project relevance.
