About
The Generation Google Scholarship – for women in computer science (Asia Pacific Region/APAC) supports female students pursuing undergraduate degrees in computer science or related fields. It aims to help talented women overcome barriers in technology by providing financial aid and fostering leadership in the field. The scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion alongside strong academic and leadership qualities. Recipients are supported to continue their education and build meaningful careers in technology, contributing to a more inclusive tech industry across the Asia Pacific region.
Eligibility
Open to women who are currently enrolled as full-time undergraduate students in a computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related technical program. Applicants must be studying at a recognized university in the Asia Pacific Region, including India. The selection committee evaluates leadership experience, academic performance, and contributions to diversity, equity, and inclusion in tech. Financial need may be considered but is not a strict requirement.
How to apply
Submit an online application through the official Generation Google Scholarship portal. Prepare a resume, academic transcripts, and two short essays: one on your leadership and impact in tech, and another on your commitment to diversity and inclusion. Letters of recommendation may also be required. Ensure all materials are submitted before the deadline listed on the official program page. Only complete applications will be reviewed.
