The GyanDhan Scholarship 2026 supports Indian students at any stage of higher education—undergraduate, postgraduate or diploma—to study in India or abroad. Funded by GyanDhan, the scholarship awards up to ₹20 lakh based on demonstrated skills, effort and standardized test performance rather than past grades alone. It aims to remove financial barriers so that meritorious students can pursue their academic and career goals without compromise.

Open to Indian citizens enrolled or planning to enroll in any undergraduate, postgraduate or diploma program in India or overseas. There are no minimum GPA or percentage requirements. Applicants must be able to demonstrate financial need and submit valid standardized test scores if applicable to their chosen course. Priority may be given to students from economically weaker sections, SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwD or other marginalized categories as per the official guidelines.

Complete the online application form, upload identity proof, academic transcripts or admission letter, standardized test scores (if required), income certificate and a 500-word statement of purpose. Submit before the deadline and track your application status through the portal. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a telephonic interview.
