The North South Foundation Scholarships support Indian students entering undergraduate programs in engineering, medicine, pharmacy, veterinary science, agriculture, nursing, and three-year polytechnic diplomas. The scholarships are awarded based on academic merit and demonstrated financial need. NSF also considers students pursuing BDS, BSc Nursing, and BPharma courses for support. Each year, the selection process is managed at the local chapter level by dedicated volunteers who review applications, conduct interviews, and present awards to selected students.

Open to Indian students entering undergraduate programs in engineering, medicine, pharmacy, veterinary science, agriculture, nursing, or three-year polytechnic diplomas. Priority is given to students from economically weaker sections, including SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and PwD categories. Financial need and academic performance are key criteria. Students must apply through their local NSF India chapter.

Begin by identifying your nearest NSF India chapter through the official page. Submit a completed application form along with required documents such as income certificates, academic transcripts, and proof of admission. The local chapter coordinator will form a selection committee, review applications, and shortlist candidates for interviews. Final awards are announced at a local ceremony where scholarship checks are distributed.
